Women In Need

Women In Need has been serving Rockwall, Rains, and Hunt counties for 42 years, offering safety, support, and hope to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our mission is simple: to make sure anyone facing abuse has someone to call, somewhere to go, and a team ready to help.

Our services include a 24/7 crisis hotline, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups, a food pantry, and financial assistance to help survivors overcome barriers to safety and stability. Through My Sister’s Closet, our resale stores, we provide clothing, household items, and furniture to our clients through a voucher system, ensuring they have access to essential items at no cost. Every donation made to our stores directly helps fund our mission, and we are grateful for the community’s ongoing support.

We are committed to prevention and education. WIN offers training and presentations for schools, businesses, and organizations to build awareness, strengthen community response, and help stop violence before it starts.
