Nicole Felder

Nicole Felder is an accomplished communications professional with more than 2 decades of experience in Television Journalism. She is a North Carolina native, who, prior to embarking on her distinguished career, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University. As a Journalist, Nicole built a reputation as a trusted storyteller who was committed to community engagement and reporting on issues that mattered most to the people she served.

Throughout her career, Nicole covered a wide range of stories that informed educated and connected communities. Her ability to communicate complex issues with clarity and authenticity, combined with a deep commitment to public service, earned her the trust of audiences and community leaders alike.

In December 2025, Nicole began a new chapter in her professional journey when she transitioned from journalism to nonprofit leadership, accepting the role of President and CEO of Heart of the City Lewisville. 

The move allowed her to channel her passion for service into direct community impact, leading a dynamic team that strives to create opportunities for individuals and families in need.

Drawing upon her extensive experience in communication, relationship-building, and public engagement, Nicole is committed to advancing Heart of the City’s mission while continuing to learn and grow as a nonprofit leader. She considers this career transition the most rewarding and meaningful pivot of her professional life.

Outside of her career, Nicole enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and stepson.
